It’s time for the annual St. Thomas Open…
so don’t be left out! Here’s the facts:

Tournament Cost: $185 – includes:

• Green fees
•  Cart fees
• Awards banquet
• Participation in special events during tournament
• Gratuity

A preregistration cocktail party will take place on Friday, August 5th, at The Grille at Mahogany Run from 6:30-8:30pm.The Calcutta and Target Drive Contest will also take place during this time frame. *ENTRY FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE PRACTICE ROUND!

Format:

Stroke Play Time: 9:00 shotgun start (participants not in attendance will be disqualified from that round of play)

Flights:

• Men’s A –  0-11
• Men’s B – 12-22
• The Lorraine McFarren-Jospeh Division – Women – 0-22
• The Tom Taylor Division – Combined Stableford —23 and up

Your handicap dictates what flight you will play. Sorry, there will be no exceptions for this event.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, August 5th – CANCELED DUE TO RAIN

10:00 am-2:00 pm Practice Round $52 per player (make your own tee time)
6:15 pm Target Drive contest ($50 cash to winner)
6:30-8:30 pm Pre-registration, Calcutta and cocktail party

Saturday, August 6th

10:00 – 11:00 am Registration and continental breakfast
12:00 noon  Round one shotgun start

Sunday, August 7th

6:30-8:30 AM Continental breakfast
9:00 AM Round two shotgun start

Awards:

Awards will be presented for 1st and 2nd place Gross and Net in each open flight along with gift certificates in the amount of $100 and $75 respectively. 3rd place open winners will receive gift certificates in the amount of $25.

Awards will be given out for 1st and 2nd place Stableford winners along with gift certificates in the amount of $75 and $50 respectively. 3rd place Stableford winners will receive gift certificates in the amount of $25.

Gift Certificates in the amount of $75 will be awarded to Men’s Low Gross Senior (must be 50 and over and can be either A or B flight) and Low Gross Junior (open flight)

Prizes:

There will be competitions holes for Hole-In-One, Closest-To-The Pin and Longest Drive each day (holes to be announced).

Raffle:

There will be a host of great gifts given away and tickets are only $5 each or 5 for $20. There will also be a cash 50/50 raffle. A special prize will be awarded to one (1) member of the STSJGA!
