The 2015 St. Thomas ECGA Team

It is that time of the year once again when we begin to make a run at being a member of the 2016 St. Thomas ECGA team. Last year’s competition was fierce, spirited and challenging to all and we are expecting much of the same for this year. The rules of engagement will be the same and team members will be selected based on the following point system for competition in 6 separate events:

1st-100; 2nd-80; 3rd-70; 4th-60; 5th-50; 6th-45; 7th-40;8th-35; 9th-30; 10th-25; 11th-15

This year’s events will be held on the third Saturday of the month beginning in March. Our first ECGA qualifier for 2016 is this Saturday 3/19 followed by April 16th, May 21st, and June 18th, and the St. Thomas Open on August 6th and 7th. This is a two day event and each day will be a separate qualifier.

A ball drop will be conducted for the Saturday qualifiers and competitors will be grouped based on handicap…
1-10; 11-20; and 21 or greater. We are hopeful that this will create a more efficient and enjoyable competition.
To obtain points, players must complete the round!

To qualify for the team, you must be a paid member of the STSJGA. So if you haven’t done so please see any Board member or leave your payment in the Mahogany Run Pro Shop.
